I've been in a fallow period lately, with introversion raging ... but I have greatly enjoyed the many Silent Writing sessions I've attended and look forward to getting back into the swing of things again. In a couple of weeks, that is. Writing retreat first!
I understand those seasons of introversion. I've been resting a bit more the past couple of weeks, catching up on stuff around the house and yard, in preparation for the retreat. I have missed you! And I will be so happy to see you in Silent Writing and around the retreat. ❤️✍️
I love this so much! And thank you for being a SW leader, every one of those sessions bring me closer to my dream. And of course, the friends that I get to visit with each week bring joy to my heart.
I’m so happy we get to enjoy Community together! I’m always in awe as we witness the growth and momentum among all of us. Your dream is achievable! 💕💕💕
Beautifully Written - YOU make the community so special and your Presence is felt and soooo missed when you can’t make it on. Love you so much dear friend 💖✨💖✨💖✨💖
This resonates with me so much! Thank you for sharing your experience with AWR. I am in the in-between stages of not-turning-on-my-camera-and-mic and turning-on-my-camera-and-mic. I am finishing up the editing process of my manuscript and have been such a hermit for so long; I tend to forget the benefits of being a part of a community. I am excited to jump back in with the digital retreat coming up and am pondering attending some of the Silent Writings...fingers crossed!
Love this, Jacque! A Writing Room is so blessed to have you as a Silent Writing Leader as well as a community member. We each enter the space for our own particular reasons, yet the community offers something for all. I'm thrilled that it led me to you and your writing!
Awww...thank you, Karen! I am so grateful that AWR paired us up as well! For something so random as that pairing process is - it feels like everything aligned perfectly for us to be able to inspire and encourage each other on our journeys as Writers.
I agree 100%, Jacque. And you have been an important part of this community. Kurt Vonnegut wrote a little book for high school graduates based on his commencement speeches. His most important piece of advice for living a meaningful life is to find a community. I find A Writing Room to be one of the most supportive communities I've ever belonged to.
Thank you, Bonnie. And thank you for sharing that advice. I was convinced that I did not need community, that I could manage alone. Of course, that was before I found Community. Appreciate you so much.
Isn't it amazing? I'm in awe when I take a moment to reflect on the impact our Community has on our lives, and the many ways that ripples out into the lives around us. I'm overflowing with gratitude. 🥰
Wow! Such a great article from someone who is in my community and wants to be part of August Community building challenge? I am thinking you should run this challenge, Jacque.
Jacque, you nailed it! And you give so much to this community. I'm so glad you're here.
Thank you, Janet. I love being in Community with you! And I learn so much every time we interact.
Thank you. Same! I really wanted to get to your SW session today but couldn't make it. Maybe next week.

I completely resonate with "introversion raging" --I am there quite a bit lately.
Sooooooooo good!
Thank you, Faith! Your creative energy is palpable in Silent Writing.
So true! This Community is so life-giving for me. YOU are a huge part of that. Thank you, Jacque.
I’m glad we’ve found this place, and this friendship! 💕💕💕
Yes!! This Community is such an incredible gift!
I agree. I’m amazed all the time!

Gathering together with others is not my strong suit. Thank you for the encouragement!
Beautifully crafted and inspirational! Thank you for this piece and for your nurturing, steady presence in AWR. It is an honor to write alongside you.

Hard to believe it's been almost 2 years. Thank you Jacque for being such an inspiration here and at AWR.
Right?! I can't believe it has been nearly two years either. What a fantastic journey. I'm grateful. Thank you, Kathleen.
You’re Amazing, with a capital A!
Thank you, Elizabeth. I appreciate you!

For me too. It’s maybe what many of us needed and I hope the newer people feel this same way.
Jacque, this perfectly explains it. We have all come together in this place that welcomes us all in the same enriching way.
