Wow Jacque- you nailed this review. Came into it knowing zero about the book and left your review ready to give it a shot- even though horror is not my go-to read, I do appreciate fresh, crisp and evocative writing. Can't wait to see what writer Carly has sunk her teeth into with this book!
Spectacular review, Jacque. It draws me toward the book even though I am not a fan of horror. Your review reminded me of what I thought about Stephen King’s writing. I stayed away from all of his books until I read his book On Writing and discovered what a wonderful writer he is. I am sure I will discover that with the book by C.N. Vair! Thank you.

On Writing is excellent, one of my favorites! Carly has a unique, fresh voice. I am looking forward to reading her future books also.
